Whitehorse, Yukon January 2024. We had never been to Whitehorse or anywhere in the Yukon. We spent 3 days in and around Whitehorse, visited Lake Laberge  (or Lake Lebarge as Robert Service would have it) and soaked in the hot springs at the Eclipse Spa. Then it was three nights at the Northern Lights Resort and Spa in a "Glass Chalet" watching the Aurora Borealis. On one of those days we spent the daylight portion Dog Sledding with Alayuk Adventures run by Marselle Fressineau. Marselle has run and finished the 1000 mile long Iditarod 2 times and the Yukon Quest, also 1000 mile long, once. Incredible! Her mushers and her dogs took us on a wonderful 15 km ride thru some beautiful scenery.

There is a short video of some of the dog sledding below the photos as well as a time-lapse of the Aurora
